We start by using select OEM 5.700" long, large journal rod cores and they are prepped and tested for straightness, magnifluxed for cracks, checked for correct center-to-center length, shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal, and the ends are machined for true tolerances using Sunnen Machinery. They are fitted with ARP High-Performance Wave-Loc bolts (200,000 PSI tensile strength) giving added strength and security. All sets are weight matched for better balancing.
